Caitlin Mcadam English 3 April 16, 2013 Birth Control, Why be Frowned Upon? Birth control is a way to prevent your daughter from having a kid as a kid, not a statement telling her that it is okay to freely have sex. If you know and understand that your daughter is having sex, wouldn’t you want the peace of mind that she is being safe, and protected? There are several ways to take birth control, and the doctor will choose the best method for the patient. Birth control has a 99% protection rate when taken as directed and also helps prevents some diseases such as certain types of cancers and endometriosis. Some parents don’t agree with birth control because they believe abstinence is 100% effective, but it is not always†¦show more content†¦If the child has to hide the fact that they are on birth control or sexually active, it can become unsafe and may not be the most effective to prevent pregnancy. A parent’s involvement and support will broaden teen girl’s resources as well as her options for methods of contraception -(Haley). Instead of telling your daughter she is wrong for having sex, or yelling at her for being stupid, help her and support her. Yes, having the talk is hard, but the fact that some parents know the teen is doing it unprotected anyways, and doesn’t help, is very wrong. The parent should understand, and try to help the child be safe. When the teen becomes pregnant because she had no options available or her parents condemned her from having sex, her innocence and childhood is over. So as a parent, you should have these options available before it’s too late. Birth control actually has many benefits, and should not be feared by parents. One of the most common forms of contraception is the birth control pill. Taking the pill will offer a constant and consistent amount of protection against pregnancy when taken regularly and as prescribed-(Haley). Birth control comes in many forms, and the doctor will prescribe to you what’s best for your body and style. The pi ll is not a bad thing, and can be controlled by the girl taking it. They’re so many reasons I was very interested in this topic about â€Å"possible causes of childhood autism.† For example, one is because my little brother is in the process of being diagnosed with autism. Autism can mean a number of things. When people talk about autism, it can either mean autism spectrum disorder, which is a category of disorders, or classical autism ASD includes classical autism. So ASD and autism may be two different things. Autism is known as a complex developmental disability. ASD stands for Autism Spectrum Disorder and can sometimes be referred to as Autistic Spectrum Disorder. The road to an autism diagnosis can be difficult and time-consuming. In fact, it is often two or three year after the first symptoms of autism are recognized before an official diagnosis is made. Because of the severity variety, a specialist may observe social interaction, and give speech tests, test communication, and have a genetic test given to a suspected autistic patient. A person with autism usually has a routine which they follow. May people may see this is odd, and try to force the person may see with autism to accept change. How far do you agree that Hitler’s Regime was a ‘consensus dictatorship’? A consensus dictatorship is on that suggests Hitler’s regime was surrounded by a general agreement. This would mean that the majority of the German public were in cooperation with the Nazi regime and agreed with both the enforced and promoted concept of the regime. Hitler had mainly achieved this by trying to ‘ win over the hearts and minds of all non-Jewish Germans’ this would mean he would have the majority of the Germans citizens on his side. On the other hand, the opposition faced by the Nazi regime is evidence that the Nazi Regime was not a consented one. The fact that there were low-level resistance jokes around shows the Nazis were unpopular. People were trying to pick holes in the system rather than just accept it.
